About Millington Housing Authority

The Millington Housing Authority owns 89 homes which offer income-based housing. At this time we have no availability and have extensive waiting lists for all our units.

Our 1 bedroom waiting list is currently closed.

For the 2,3,4 or 5 bedroom preference waiting list only.

Preferences are:
• Natural disaster displaced eligible households with proper paperwork from FEMA, for a period of 6 months after the area is declared a natural disaster.

• Residents of the city of Millington who are employed at least 20 hours per week at minimum wage (or equivalent). Applicants who work in the city of Millington will be considered residents of the City for purposes of this preference. Proof of employment is defined as a pay stub from the employer listing a Millington business address. However, an applicant must be given the benefit of the working family preference if the head and spouse, or sole member is age 62 or older, or is a person with disabilities.

• Residents of the city of Millington. Proof of residency is defined as a current lease in Applicants name in the City of Millington

This is done by visiting our office between the hours of 8AM and noon Monday through Friday and filling out an application packet. Please note that a family must qualify for the bedroom sizes in family composition and all applicants over 18 are asked to sign release forms for a background and credit check.
